Here are more pictures that we had taken a few weeks ago. Sorry it has taken so long to get some good pictures of Carter up. I apologize especially to all the grandmas out there. This whole sickness things has taken a while to regroup from. We are happy to report that for now everyone is healthy and happy and Chris has finally gone back to work after a two month vacation. Honestly I think he was ready to go back to work. He isn't used to the hours us moms have to keep. He said that being a stay-at-home mom is hard work. I just smiled.
Again the pictures my next door neighbors little sister took. She is only in high school but did so wonderful. It is obvious she has a natural talent...lucky girl.

Many will remember Kate's beloved Jeffery from our vacations out there. We got Carter a monkey, that is yet to be named. Kate has picked Abu from Aladdin and Chris keeps calling it Apu from The Simpson's. Neither of them I can reconcile with so we will keep thinking or leave it to Carter when he can talk....any suggestions. We decided some pictures with their animals would be a nice remembrance. Those of you who have seen Kate's Jeffery can testify that these animals aren't likely to make it past childhood. She is literally loving him to pieces.

Our Carter is defiantly made of stronger stuff as I'm sure most second children are. His sister loves him so much that sometimes it hurts for us to watch. We don't want to discourage her from loving on him but it is really difficult for a two and a half year old to understand how hard is too hard to bang on Carter stomach after he eats. She says she is just trying to burp him like we do. He doesn't EVER complain. She would note have been so patient. Again that is why he is number two and she is not.

My favorite things that are happening with him right now are: he has started smiling and his hair is going red. That's right. He came out with gorgeous brownish-blond hair and it is now getting redder. Most strangers call him a red head. It doesn't seem that drastic to me but you can tell a difference.

We love and miss all of you. Thanks for the phone calls and messages of support!

those pictures are all so awesome! what cute kids, what a cute family. I miss you, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you this week. I can't wait until it's warmer and we can play outside again. I'm dying to come and have a picnic in Frederick again. Love you!

Those pictrues turned out great - what a cute family you have. It seems that the oldest really does like to love on the second child a lot. It reminds me of Elvira (sp?) from the Animaniacs with the animals. LOL.

Beautiful pictures, Laurin! I love them all. Especially the "feet" one. When Sean & Nicole bought their home in south weber, the family had a photo of all 5 children's feet in black and white and it said, "Our Family Footage". I've always thought it was cute.
